The Department of Jurisprudence is an educational and methodological and scientific subdivision of the MAUPF, carrying out educational, teaching and research and research activities, extra-curricular work among students, training and retraining of specialists with higher education, as well as scientific and pedagogical staff of the highest qualification in the field — Jurisprudence. «Jurisprudence» was formed by the decision of the Academic Council of the IIUPF and B on September 30, 2002 in order to further improve the educational process, improve research and development Educational, methodological work on such important legal disciplines as civil, criminal, labor, civil procedure, criminal procedural, environmental, housing, banking, social security law, business law and others.
The changes taking place in our society put the teaching of these legal disciplines in fundamentally new conditions. The task, which in this connection is to be solved, is a rethinking, qualitative processing and updating of the contents of the courses of disciplines of the department, the methodology of their study, taking into account the changes that have taken place in the republic and in the world.
The department unites the entire faculty and laboratory assistant, which ensures the teaching of disciplines assigned to the department. The purpose of the department is to satisfy the cultural and educational needs of the individual and society in the implementation of educational and professional programs of higher legal education.
The main tasks of the Department of Jurisprudence are:
— improving the teaching and methodological activities of the faculty;
— Improvement of teaching technologies in order to develop the creative potential of students and their abilities;
— formation of the individual educational trajectory of the student;
— Carrying out educational work among students;
— conducting research on the profile of the department;
— training of scientific and pedagogical personnel and raising their qualifications.

The chair is headed by Candidate of Juridical Science, Associate Professor, Excellent Education of the Kyrgyz Republic Murzabekova Zhypar Taavaldievna.
In 2015-2016 academic year, the faculty of the department was 27 people, including: 17 full-time teachers, 10 part-timers. The proportion of full-time teachers is 63%.
Qualitative characteristics of the department today is expressed, first of all, in the teaching staff. At the department today work: 3 doctors of law, 2 professors, 1 corresponding member of the NAS of the KR; 7 Candidates of Science, 3 Associate Professors, 5 Acting. Associate Professor, 7 tbsp. Teachers, 7 teachers. Full-time teachers: 1 doctor of law, 4 candidates of law. Defense of the thesis dissertation of another teacher Koychukulova Zh.B. Was held on December 19, 2015.
The Academy is taught by 20 people. Of them, doctors of legal sciences — 3, candidates of sciences — 7. Qualitative composition of PPP is 50%.

The main directions of the department work
The department carries out its work in 4 main directions: educational, educational and methodical, research and organizational and educational work. Each direction provides for the performance of the department certain types of work with the indication of specific deadlines for execution and responsible for implementation. Priority is the research work of teachers.
The work plan of the department corresponds to the general requirements of the educational standard and regulations on the relevant structural subdivision of the MAUPFI.
The teaching, teaching and methodical load of the teachers of the department was distributed according to the curriculum, the norms of time and the staff of the department. The load of teachers was distributed taking into account the read disciplines, areas of specialization of the teacher.
Particular emphasis is placed on research work, which, undoubtedly, is a necessary condition for improving the scientific and theoretical level of teacher training. Teachers of the department carry out research work on the fixed topics of dissertational research, write scientific articles, monographs, participate in scientific and practical conferences.
Part of this direction is publishing. The department plans to publish educational, teaching aids, textbooks, theses of lectures and texts of lectures.
Particular attention is paid to the department of the implementation of educational, educational and methodological and organizational-methodological work. In order to ensure proper and high-quality implementation of these types of work, the plan provides for special consideration of the results of such work at the meeting of the department in the form of a separate agenda item, their detailed discussion and the adoption of a definite decision. In the minutes of the meetings of the department, he finds the process of examining the questions of the department’s plan and other current questions on the work of the departments. Questions on the agenda are drawn up in accordance with the work plan of the departments.
Constantly at the meetings of the department there is a discussion of texts of lectures, theses of lectures of teachers. Teachers of the department actively carry out mutual visits, the results of which are discussed at the department and recorded in the journal of mutual visits. There is a schedule of open lectures.
Duty at the department is carried out according to the approved schedule.
Since the beginning of the 2015-16 academic year, significant work has been done to prepare work programs for academic disciplines. All the disciplines read, both under the Academy’s program and under the program of the college, are provided with working programs based on the 3rd generation of the KSA HPE approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. Virtually all the disciplines of the department developed methodological guidelines for studying the course, test tasks, control questions for current and final control, the subject of course and diploma papers, methodical instructions for writing term papers, doing independent work, searching for and using regulatory legal acts and recommended literature.
For students under the bachelor’s direction, syllabuses have been prepared (short work programs on read disciplines). Syllabuses are designed to help students master the disciplines of the state educational standard and efficient organization of independent work. Syllabuses contain a description of the subjects studied, the goals and objectives of the course, the topics and duration of each session, the competences formed, the topics of independent work, its forms, the name of the teacher who reads the discipline, a list of regulatory legal acts and recommended literature on discipline, links to electronic sources.
The department annually updates the subject of course and final qualification works, the presented topics are topical, novel and meet the requirements.
Use of modern teaching methods and forms of organization of training sessions.
The professorial and teaching staff of the department at the professional level conducts lectures and practical exercises using a wide range of modern interactive teaching methods.
Active forms of teaching are used, the purpose of which is to develop the creative abilities of students, the independence of solving problems, leading to the improvement of the future specialist. Widespread forms of conducting classes — discussions, analysis of a specific situation, game modes, work in small groups.
The teaching staff of the Department of Jurisprudence has developed the principles on the basis of which the forms and methods of conducting classes are determined, such as the problem of the content of the session and the independence of the decision by the student, the collectivity of educational activity in combination with cooperation, dialogic communication, and the assistant teacher.
The use of interactive teaching methods contributes to better learning of theoretical material and enables students to show themselves in practical exercises, developing their thinking and oratorical abilities.
Annually, student intellectual competitions (brain-rings) are held at courses of constitutional law, civil law (parts of general and special), civil procedural law. At these competitions students get the opportunity to test their knowledge and objectively analyze the level of preparedness in a comparative plan.
Quality of educational, methodical, information and library support.
The faculty of the department conducts certain work in the field of preparation and production of educational and methodological products. All disciplines of the curriculum are provided with educational and methodological complexes and work programs.
In November 2015 the teachers of the department published the Syllabus (short work programs on the subjects being read). The teaching materials developed at the department are intended for students with the purpose of productive implementation of scientific research work and the study of all available disciplines. This gives an effective formation in students of analytical thinking necessary for understanding them the essence of scientific and legal processes and the systematization of knowledge in the field of law in modern conditions; Development of creative thinking of students; Orientation of graduates to carry out active professional work in the future.
In the aspect of information support, the Department of Jurisprudence has the opportunity to receive on-line information about scientific achievements in the field of jurisprudence of Russia, Kazakhstan and foreign countries via the Internet. Teaching staff makes extensive use of Internet information resources, which is of great help in preparing for training sessions, teaching academic disciplines, preparing work programs, improving the professional level of the teacher.
Teachers of the department also have the opportunity to use the information-legal system «Toktom», «Paragraph», other electronic sources, which makes it possible to keep abreast of the law-making activity of state bodies, to track changes in the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In the International Academy of Management, Law, Finance and Business there is a library. According to the taught disciplines of the department in the library there is literature, new publications on constitutional law, administrative law, civil law, civil procedural law, criminal law, criminal procedural law, treaty law, family law, private international law, hereditary law, etc. Teachers of the department through the Internet Can take advantage of the library resources «KnigaFund.Ru».
The fund of the electronic library has been formed, which is constantly replenished.
