The Department of «Natural Sciences» is an educational and methodical and scientific division of the MAUPFIB, which carries out educational, teaching, methodological and research activities, extracurricular work among students, and the training of specialists with higher education.

The Department of «Natural Science Disciplines» was formed by the decision of the Academic Council of the MAUPFiB in 2002 with a view to further improving the educational process, improving research, teaching and methodological work in such important disciplines as higher mathematics, mathematics, computer science, computer graphics, databases, financial Mathematics, mathematical modeling, discrete mathematics, computer networks, systems and telecommunications, operating systems, algorithmization and programming, and others.

The changes taking place in our society put the teaching of these disciplines in fundamentally new conditions. The task, which in this connection is to be solved, is a rethinking, qualitative processing and updating of the contents of the courses of disciplines of the department, the methodology of their study, taking into account the changes that have taken place in the republic and in the world.

The department unites the entire faculty and laboratory technicians, which provides the teaching of the disciplines assigned to the department. The goal of the department is to satisfy the cultural and educational needs of the individual and society in the implementation of educational and professional programs of higher education.

The department of «Natural Sciences Disciplines» prepares bachelors in the direction 710300 «Applied Informatics in Economics», specialists in the field 230110 «Maintenance of computing equipment and computer networks», the Department organizes the educational process on the directions «Applied Informatics in Economics», «Technical Maintenance of computer facilities and computer networks «.
The department also conducts the specified disciplines in other specialties and directions: in the specialty «Finance and Credit», «Economics», «Accounting and Audit», in the specialty and «Jurisprudence».

At the department today work: 1 doctor f.-m. Sciences, 2 professors, 5 candidates of sciences, 3 associate professors, 1 associate professor, 10 art. Teachers, 3 teachers.

MISSION OF THE DEPARTMENT of «Natural Sciences Diplomatic»

The main tasks of the department «END» are:
-improvement of teaching and methodological activities of the faculty;
— Improvement of teaching technologies in order to develop the creative potential of students and their abilities;
— formation of the individual educational trajectory of the student;
— Carrying out educational work among students;
— conducting research on the profile of the department;
— training of scientific and pedagogical personnel and raising their qualifications.

The material base of the department as a whole meets the requirements of the educational process. In the learning process, the continuity of computer training for students of all courses is ensured. The computer park in quantitative terms is sufficient for conducting the educational process at the modern level. There are 5 computer rooms in the MAUPFiB; 1 classroom, equipped with multimedia equipment, a projector, cabinets for virtual laboratory work. All available computers are connected to the Internet and local network. Retrofitting and re-equipment of computer equipment is carried out in accordance with the emerging needs for increasing information resources. Specialty «Applied Informatics in Economics» is one of the most popular on the labor market all over the world.

The information economist is a specialist who understands economics, underwater reefs of economic laws, who can model business processes, analyze the activity of enterprises, predict the state of financial and commodity markets, professionally work on computers and create information systems, which means managing the organization using modern Computer technology.

Already during the training students start working in different organizations, quickly mastering the leading areas of the modern information economy and enjoy a stable demand in the labor market. Our graduates work in the specialty at such leading enterprises as: OJSC Kyrgyztelecom, RSK-Bank, Megakom, Beeline, Optima Bank, etc.

Graduates of the direction can realize themselves in the following areas:

Currently, among the variety of professions are becoming relevant, which are associated with computer technology. A computer technician is one of them. Graduates of the specialty have programming skills, can work with information networks, carry out technical and software maintenance of personal computers and computer networks.

In the future it will be easier for you to get a job: in any company there are many people who know how to press the keys of a computer, to program something, but in case of any malfunction, you have to call a service technician from the service center. You will be able to independently install the software, program and, if necessary, reconnect the blocks and computer boards, test the PC. Our graduates can work on technical positions of middle level in various organizations: service centers for maintenance of computer facilities; Computer centers; Banks; Communication enterprises; In offices; Technical departments of enterprises and organizations, etc.

Terms of training:
• on the basis of complete secondary education (11 classes): 1 Year 10 months.
• on the basis of basic general education (9 classes): 2 years 10 months.
Qualification: Technician.
Graduates of the college receive a diploma of secondary vocational education and can continue their studies at the Academy in the specialty «Applied Informatics in Economics», by enrolling in a 3-course correspondence department or 2 year full-time department. Term of training is 3 years.
Non-resident students are provided with a hostel.

Parallel Training

For students of the 10th grade, parallel education is offered, according to which pupils, when studying at school, can master the specialty in full-time correspondence as students. After graduation, being students of the third year of college, within a year receive a diploma of secondary vocational education.

Educational-methodical work of the department is conducted, according to the plan of educational-methodical works in the following areas:
— participation in the development of standards of the third generation in the direction of «Management»;
— development and approval of the RUE on new standards;
— development of CMD with a package of relevant documents on the disciplines assigned to the department;
